All About Me
My name is Raygan Rensing, and I am finishing my Junior year at Heritage High. I was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and lived in Raleigh for five years before moving to Wake Forest, where I currently live. I am an only child who loves being active, playing sports, spending time with my friends, and being outdoors. I also like to unwind by reading a good book or watching Netflix. I attended Rolesville Elementary School and Wake Forest Middle School, where I played on the volleyball and softball teams in seventh and eighth grade. I enjoy playing volleyball, and I played for the JV team my freshman year, but softball is my passion. I play for a travel softball team, the Firecrackers NC 18u. We travel to South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and Florida. I predominantly pitch for my travel team, but I also play 2nd base and outfield. I have played on the HHS Varsity softball team the past three years, and in April I committed to play softball at Lees-McRae College. I am looking forward to beginning my Senior year in August, and I can't wait for summer!
"They call this a softball. But really, it's a yellow threaded gift from God, revealed to each young lady who dares to play the game. Somewhere between her heart and hard work, she will find the thread that will unwrap the talent she didn't know she had, develop the characteristics she will always need, and transform her teammates into everlasting friends." -Unknown
"Close friends are truly life's treasures. Sometimes they know us better than we know ourselves. With gentle honesty, they are there to guide and support us, to share our laughter and our tears. Their presence reminds us that we are never really alone." -Unknown
