Transitions PowerPoint
While working with transitions in our PowerPoint Unit, I had to create a PowerPoint that had at least ten slides, and make it look like a movie by adding the right kind of transitions between each slide. Approaching this assignment, I had no clue what I wanted to create. After thinking for several minutes, I got the idea of a hot air balloon taking off and floating into the distance. Creating this PowerPoint helped me learn how to use multiple types of transitions, and that it's easy to use them. If I had to redo this project, I would create a PowerPoint that had a timer ticking down with a bomb attached to it, and at the end make the last slide full of smoke, so the PowerPoint looked like it actually blew up.

Certification Tests
At the end of our Microsoft Unit, and at the end of our PowerPoint Unit, my class had to take Certification tests to show mastery of Word and PowerPoint. The test was scored out of 1,000, but in order to pass the test I had to get at least a 700. Once we passed the test, my teacher wrote our names on a piece of paper and put it on the wall under the tests that we passed. Taking these tests allowed me to figure out what I was good at, and what I needed to work on. Taking the test was somewhat stressful because we had fifty minutes to complete a series of tasks; so if I was to take the test again, I would make sure I skipped over the tasks I didn't know or remember how to do, and make sure I complete the easiest tasks at the beginning.
